  6. Will I still be able to take journey man test ? I’ve been plumbing 3 years , bought all plumbing books, have certifications and some awards, but I have never had a title as a legit apprentice just been getting the certs and jobs. I’m couple years or sooner I’d like to take the test. Any advice? Or am I still good as long as I show I’ve been working the trade for the recommended amount of time?

  7. Depends on the state. Im in Massachusetts and if you want to be a licensed plumber you also have to be a licensed gas fitter. Most jobs are paying around 45 – 55 an hr for journeymen. Its a hard gig with tons of overtime, not for everyone.
