That's not a trick, it's standard procedure.
Thank you for priming the face!!!!
Hard critique from me. No offense. One: bed the pipe fully with dirt until it has the correct fall while leaving maybe 6in of no dirt towards the end where you are going to glue the next fitting. Two: level your wye first before you put another fitting in the wye. Three: do not pre primer the other joints, only primer the joint you are gluing at the time. If you need a reason for that hereβs my opinion, when you primer a joint you are cleaning thatβs joint to the fullest which has a better chance of not having dirt/dust/ or any type of micro conflicting barrier to the glue. If you primer joints that you are not gluing to yet it has a chance to getting dirt/ dust to stick to that primer before you glue and it could work still or it would cause a leak to happen down the road because of the bonding not being 100%.
Idk why Iβve never thought of using a street 90 to get the pitch lol
Thanks

πΆ you literally just need to put the level on the branch to find proper slopeβ¦.
What kind of boots you got
Ur using Purple Glue stfu lol
Lame
You are wrong. Also, you glue the fitting first, not the pipe. If you don't know why, do not give advice.
Are you under a house here?
A mound of dirt works great, but you didn't grade the pipe before installing your wye. If you're off, it'll throw off the angle of your wye. That's why I use a mound of dirt with it at proper fall then I can glue all of it together with no dirt in my fitting and a properly aligned wye.
My apprentice did it like that and I fired him π’
Why do plumbers do this. U gotta let the primer dry first. That shit no bueno
No where near enough primer that's hack work some crackhead with A camera day labor
Donβt go easy on the primer and lay the pipe on the dirt
No lie I dunno why I never thought of using the street 90 to make sure my eye was on grade. I've always used the small vertical bubble on my level but I like this better!
Yeah hopefully that 90 is prefectly square in the fitting π

Yeah why is it so shallow
Primer is dog shit. No grillage. I like how you hit that wye with the street ell. Thatβs all I can take from this
Me waiting for the side of trench to collapse
Wish we could do thatβ¦ my dad just screams at me from the mini excavator to do it the hard way and to go fasterπ
A) Why are the pipes so shallow?
B) It doesn't look like those pipes are reamed and bevled. They should be.
No plumber
These are not tricks. That's the way it's always been done you did not discover anything that we already know your a amateur
What kind ove dich is that lol we grade our ditches .that's shit plumbing
Picking up the pipe like that trows off the grade
nidce
What pants?
High if the M/F elbow you fit into the Y fitting was put precisely level how can there be slope downwards for the pipe you will connect to that branch? Thanks advance for tour kind reply!
You need newer primer it's very light it needs to be dark purple so the solvent works
Why not just set level on 2β hub branch vertically instead of putting st 90 witch isnβt glued so isnβt itβs true pitch most of the time.
Hold that shit down before it starts runnin
Letters on the pipe supposed to face up/out brother!
Am so happy to see this ,even mi am plumber but am from uganda
No way can I pinch a loaf into that. 3/10
"Do what I say, not what I do"
