Adding that many cables to a connector is called bundling. Seen many times in arc fault applications where induced current from bundled circuits would cause other afci circuits to trip.

Did you know if you put the lock rings outside, you can loosen to add a future wire. Back then I could use pvc connectors, modified to bushings

Use the plastic push in fittings as you can add wires later. Cannot do that with these
